Kansas Citians will be able to hop on the new streetcar line starting in May.

Mayor Sly James had floated the idea — or perhaps desire — to show off the new streetcar line when the city was flush with visitors for the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, set for March 9-12.

Although the Streetcar Authority largely has completed construction and has been training operators for a couple of months, it’s still waiting on the arrival of its fourth and final streetcar
